About Jen
Jennifer (“Jen”) felt called as a helper after reading The Child Called It by Dave Pelzer at the age of 12. From that moment, Jen was compelled to assist others in whatever way she could. Soon, she began preparing and distributing healthy snacks and water to unhoused individuals on her way to summer camp.
Jen earned her undergraduate degree from Bradley University and her Master’s from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jen is licensed to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. Over the course of 14 years in the field, Jen has worked with individuals, couples, groups, and families in a variety of settings to include case management, crisis intervention, intensive outpatient, home-based therapy, and outpatient psychotherapy.
While Jen is well-equipped to treat most common concerns and issues you may face, she specializes in:
